FUN FOR YOU & CHILD

kidsupplies

Sink or Float: Fill a container with water. Collect small items around the house. Let child experiment and sort objects by whether they sink or float.

Connections: Place velcro dots at the ends of craft sticks and let child create letters and shapes.

Wearable Cleaners: String cereal or pasta on pipe cleaners to create jewelry.

Matching Run: Get two alphabet, number or shape sets. Put one in a container on one side of the room. Scatter the second set on the other side of the room with an empty container nearby. Encourage child to pull a letter out of the filled container, run to the other side of the room, find the matching letter and place the set in the empty container.

1st Day of School: Make those first day of preschool photos fun. Make a large chalkboard or cardboard sign marked with the occasion, date and what your child wants to be when they grow up.
