Other Initiatives

Comprehensive Approaches to Raising Educational Standards (CARES) Plus for the Early Learning Workforce

A system which provides career guidance and financial assistance for licensed center-based and family child care providers, license exempt providers, family friend and neighbor caregivers and entry level child care workers serving children from birth through age 5. The University of California Riverside currently provides services for this initiative.

 

First 5 Riverside Service Corps

The First 5 Riverside AmeriCorps program is a government-funded community service program designed to meet specific community needs. Individuals serve 1,700 hours, providing oral health education to children ages 2-5 years old.
